Chambered in 45 acp, the Colt 1911 is a true legend. Originating in the early 1890’s the 1911 was in service by the U.S military until 1985. The 1911 was used in WW1, WW2, Korean War and Vietnam War.
From Colt Classic to Heirloom Quality Functional Art
Custom art-work and deep engraving done by renowned custom firearms designer-Iron Monkey Rifle Works. Each pistol comes from the colt factory as a complete firearm. The guns are then fully disassembled at XCAL Shooting Sports and Fitness and then sent to California for metal stripping. Iron Monkey rifle works then does 10 hours of deep laser engraving, followed by fully mirror polishing all parts. Once polished, the slide and frame will go through a multi-step process for black nickel coating while barrel and small parts are hard chrome plated. After the coatings process, the firearm will then be fully assembled at XCAL Shooting Sports and Fitness and shipped to your FFL of choice.
